The basic Life Mapping Insert has “Grid” and “Side Index”. Like this,
The Side Index is for you to fill in your color coding and use together with Index Page Marker.
Now let me show you how to make “Index Page Marker”.
What you need?
- A transparent plastic sheet in A4
- If you can’t find item1, you can use a filofax a5 clear pocket
- A plain A4 paper
- Label tape (I am using a 2.5cm width tape)
- Printer
- Any A5 Life Mapping insert
- An A5 binder
How to DIY?
- Download the master template for 2.5cm width tape. Print out on A4.
- Stick label tapes on it. Like this,
Trim
- Download the grid and print it on the A4 paper the side with label tapes
- Cut the plastic sheet into 163mm x 215mm. Punch holes on the longer side of the plastic sheet. Please ignore this step if you are using Filofax a5 clear pocket.
- Put the plastic sheet/clear pocket into your A5 binder on top of a A5 Life Mapping insert
- Cut two “3grids x 47grids” & two “5grids x 47grids” out from the label tape
- Stick a “3grids x 47grids” & a “5grids x 47grids” label tapes on the plastic sheet/clear pocket like this
- Stick another “3grids x 47grids” & “5grids x 47grids” label tapes on the other side of the plastic sheet/clear pocket
- Mark the label with your own color coding.
- Done!
